Mgame’s Yulgang 2 has been kicking ass in Korea for quite a while now, and late last year it entered beta in Southeast Asia (check out our impressions of the game here). But the action MMORPG still has yet to grace Chinese servers, and it sounds like Chinese gamers will still have a while to wait before they can start hacking and slashing.
According to an official announcement from the game’s Chinese publisher e7wan (一起玩网络), Yulgang 2 won’t be entering open beta in China until the second half of 2014.
Although it’s not yet clear if the free-to-play game will be monetized in China the same way it has been in Southeast Asia, there are high hopes for the game given the impressive following that the original Yulgang commanded in China: at its peak, the game had more than 500,000 players online simultaneously.
