1. iCarsclub | Singapore
iCarsclub is an online marketplace that allows car owners to monetize their “free” car time through its car sharing scheme.
2. Cacoo | Japan
With 600,000 users already onboard, it will be interesting to see how Cacoo plans to maintain (and increase) its user-base around the world, especially in Indonesia.
3. Kickfolio | Australia
Kickfolio, a Melbourne-based startup that allows you to create kickass portfolios within 30 seconds, has closed its seed round of $50,000 from PalGenesis and been selected to join 500 Startups, which brings another $50,000.
4. Cinemacraft | Singapore, Japan
Cinemacraft launched Videogram, a service that gives users a pictorial summary of the a video using an almost comic book-style, multi-panel display.
5. ChatWork | Japan
Japan’s ChatWork is an easy-to-use business communication and collaboration platform. The functions are simple, allowing businesses to set up private chat discussion groups which can be accessed via PC and mobile apps.
6. Cubie | Taiwan
Taiwan-based Cubie raised $1.1 million in series A seed funding from a group of investors, including B Dash Ventures, NTT Investment Partners, Gumi Ventures, and 500 Startups.
