1. KreditAjai | Singapore
Singapore-based Loan Garage, a startup that aims to help people get loans online, announced that it has launched its Indonesian platform KreditAja.com just two months after Loan Garage made its full launch in Singapore. The Indonesian counterpart has also secured a partnership with Indonesia’s Ministry of Economic Coordination (KUR) to distribute loans and microcredit.
2. Videogram | Japan
Developed by Sandeep Casi at Cinemacraft in Japan – before moving to Silicon Valley as part of 500 Startups – it’s about helping people discover videos by displaying them in a sort of comic-book format (think of Flipboard) where the size of the frames is determined by how important Videogram’s algorithm thinks they are.
3. Kpaper | Vietnam
Kpaper is the first of its kind in Vietnam, and it’s an iOS and Android mobile app that allows users to read local magazines online, instead of having to download them.
4. Reep | Japan
Japan’s Reep is a mobile app that remembers the photos you took a year ago. It syncs with your iPhone camera folder, Instagram, Facebook, and Flickr to help sort your images based on dates.
5. Money Lover | Vietnam
Vietnam’s Money Lover is a finances and expenses manager application for individuals that enables users to track their spending over time and manage monthly or annual budget.
6. Zoolook | Japan
Zoolook is a Japanese app that has focuses on the social and photography side of clothing, and is made up of a social network where people can share and tag their favorite looks. It also has the presence of top fashion labels who have virtual “showrooms” within the social network.
