Amareos is a service analyzes more than one million websites and a plethora of social media networks. Using an artificial intelligence developed by partners Thomson Reuters and Market Psych, the company takes the temperature of the internet on specific issues. It can analyze feelings on currencies, equities, commodities, and countries themselves.
2. Roposo | India (Startup Profile)
Roposo a social network and fashion discovery platform for fashion addicts, and has several Bollywood celebrities on board. On the platform, users can select a product or photo, and Roposo’s search engines will scan the internet to find a match.
3. iStaging | Taiwan
iStaging uses augmented reality tech in its mobile app to allow you to try furniture in your space virtually before you buy it. Eventually, you’ll be able to buy furniture you like directly from the app, although that feature isn’t available yet.
4. WeMakeScholars | India (Startup Profile)
Hyderabad-based WeMakeScholars is a website that connects students – high school through post-grad – to scholarships, fellowships, and internships. Students can search by subject, nationality, and country of interest. The site also connects students to shorter-term study abroad programs for users who don’t want to spend a whole year abroad.
5. KerjaDulu | Indonesia (Startup Profile)
KerjaDulu is an Indonesian social recruitment portal for job seekers and employers, comparable to LinkedIn. But unlike LinkedIn, which prioritizes a person’s CV, member pages on KerjaDulu focus on their online activities.
6. Dah Makan | Malaysia
Dah Makan is a Malaysian food delivery service that controls their entire value chain, starting from creating their own fresh meals in-house which are then ordered through their online website or app and finally delivered to customers.
