This Week on Youtube

What a week for trailers. A ton of new game footage and announcements released this week, and I really had a hard time narrowing down my favorites to these six.

Watch Dogs

We are going to start this list off with a bang. Watch Dogs is easily one of the most anticipated games of the year and yesterday Ubisoft released its first real trailer for the game. It gives a bit of backstory and shows a lot of action. Definitely looking forward to this one.

Along with this trailer we also found out that Watch Dogs will be released on May 27, 2014 across all platforms and across all continents (including Asia).

Batman Arkham Knight Announcement Trailer

This announcement trailer for the upcoming Batman Arkham Knight is exactly what every fan wants to see from a Batman game. The trailer features a letter narrated by the deceased Thomas Wayne to Bruce, which asks him to give back to the city that has given their family so much. The video goes on to show just how Bruce intends on giving back. Batman Arkham Knight will be available on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One sometime this year.

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

This week Koei Tecmo, released a video that revealed what Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate’s newest character, Mary Rose, was capable of. The very first thing this school girl says in the video is, “Don’t underestimate me just because I’m small.” She then proceeds to destroy all of her opponents with some powerful throws and locks. She may be young, but it looks as if this new character will be both strong and agile.

J-Stars Victory Vs

Bandai Namco released five new videos showing off five different characters and their moves. These characters included Toriko, Yamata Tarou, Joseph Joestar, Kurokami Medaka, and Nueno Meisuke. We already did a detailed look at each character, but as a quick recap; Toriko is quick and has some decent long distance attacks, Yamata Tarou is crazy, Joseph Joestar uses weapons and can heal quickly, Kurokami Medaka can restrict her opponents’ movements, and Nueno Meisuke will drain his opponents’ of their energy. You can see them all in action here.
