Eight Roads Ventures co-leads $17m round of sales support startup
SaaS Labs, a cloud solutions provider, has raised US$17 million in series A funding from Base 10 Partners and Eight Roads Ventures.
Founded in 2016 by Gaurav Sharma, SaaS Labs develops products for sales, support, and marketing teams as well as contact centers. The firm has two main products – JustCall and Helpwise.

JustCall allows small and medium-sized businesses to easily set up a cloud-based contact center for sales or support.
“Contact Center as a Service software has opened the door to multiple high-speed, efficient forms of communication between enterprises and their customers. As a result, cloud-based contact centers are fast-becoming mainstream,” SaaS Labs said in a statement.
On the other hand, Helpwise enables users to consolidate all communication streams in a single shared inbox.
SaaS Labs, which had been bootstrapped before the round, plans to use the funds to expand its customer base, grow its team, and release new products and services.
The company, which has operations in India, the US, and the Philippines, plans to double its headcount by the end of the year. It currently has 70 members on its team.
SaaS Labs highlighted that it works with more than 6,000 companies globally. Its partners include Divvy Homes, Jaguar, Ernst & Young, and Walmart.
