1. ZaiZher | China

Beijing-based ZaiZheris a location-based business messaging service app that was acquired this week by one of China’s top LinkedIn-like sites.

2. MyRepublic | Singapore

MyRepublicis a new internet service provider in Singapore that provides high-speed fibre optic web connections for consumers and enterprises, and has recently celebrated its one year anniversary last week. Read about its huge battle up against the country’s top three ISPs.

3. SilverLine | Singapore

SilverLineis a civic-minded startup from Singapore that builds specialist apps for senior citizens that will then be given to elderly folks on donated iPhones.

4. Paishouba | China / Germany

Paishouba is a multimedia app store from Berlin and Beijing-based startup 88tc88that sells totally legal apps, mobile games, e-books, and music, with a social networking element. But are Chinese netizens ready to pay up?

5. Qajoo | Indonesia

Indonesian game developer Qajoo has released its second game title, Cak DuRae, on the new Blackberry 10 platform, concurrently with the launch of the Blackberry Z10 in Indonesia. The game is soon heading to Android and iOS as well.

6. Metaps | Japan

Launched in August 2011, Metapsis an Android monetization platform that helps developers earn money from their Android apps by applying adverts, in-app cross-promotions, or gaining new users from social media sharing. This week, the Japan-born startup announced series B funding that’ll help with its overseas push – including into China.
