IT Governance

Job Description 

• Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
   
• Establish and maintain IT governance standards based on best practices such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO frameworks.
   
• Monitor IT compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
   
• Conduct IT risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce operational and technology risks.
   
• Support and coordinate IT audits (internal and external) and ensure proper documentation and remediation of findings.
   
• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of IT governance processes and controls across IT functions.
   
• Prepare and present IT governance reports, risk assessments, and compliance updates to management.
   
• Collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to ensure strong governance practices.
   
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
   

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 
• 2-5 years of experience in IT Governance, IT Risk Management, IT Compliance, or IT Audit. 
• Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL.
• Experience in IT policy development, compliance monitoring, and risk management processes.
• Familiar with IT regulatory requirements, particularly in banking, financial services, or fintech.
• Familiar with Project Management Office (PMO) activities, including IT project governance, progress tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Professional certifications such as COBIT and ITIL certification are preferred.
• Understanding of IT budgeting, cost planning, and budget monitoring would be an advantage.
