DeNA Ties Up With TinyCo, Adds To Growing List of Gaming Development Partners

Japanese mobile social gaming giant DeNA has just announced a partnership that will see independent mobile game developer TinyCo bring its games over to the Mobage platform for Android devices. According to the announcement, the first titles in the works are Tiny Chef and Tiny Nightclub. TinyCo CEO Suleman Ali explained:

Giving everyone the opportunity to play and enjoy our games, no matter their device or location, has always been a goal of ours… Therefore, we are excited to be moving closer to this goal by bringing Tiny Chef and Tiny Nightclub to the Mobage platform on Android.

TinyCo will work with ngmoco, which was acquired last year by DeNA. TinyCo is based in San Francisco, and is the latest of companies that DeNA has partnered with to enhance its Mobage game offerings. The past couple of months alone has seen the gaming behemoth most recently partner with the Daum web portal in South Korea, establish a joint venture with Grasshopper Manufacture Inc., partner with Nexon to bring a Maple Story title to Japan, and acquired gaming studios in Vietnam and Chile.

And when it wasn’t busy with all of that, DeNA somehow made time to buy a baseball team. I bet they aren’t big on lunch breaks over there…
