Golden Equator launches new US$87 million venture fund (Singapore). Together with Korea Investment Partners, the fund will invest in series A and B technology companies with high-growth potential in Southeast Asia. A small portion will be reserved for South Korean companies looking to enter the region through Singapore. Golden Equator said it currently has committed capital of 65 percent and is targeting completion of the fundraise by the end of 2018. (Golden Equator Capital)

Ecommerce startup Bizzy raises US$8 million pre-series B (Indonesia). The online marketplace for office supplies raised the funding in a round led by Sinar Mas Digital Ventures.
