Founded in late 2018, Feedloop operates as an interactive content marketing platform that provides customers the building blocks to create interactive campaigns, such as surveys, quizzes, and storytelling aimed at millennials and Generation Z. The company will use the money to develop new interactive content experiences.
Within six months of operations, the startup has executed pilot projects with different brands and digital marketing agencies, including Liga1, a professional football division of the Indonesian football league system, and online journalistic media platform Narasi.
“We believe that with more than 150 million Indonesian consumers already online, personalization will be key strategy for brands and companies to reach customers more effectively, said Melisa Irene, a partner at East Ventures.
In May East Ventures led a US$2.7 million seed funding round for another Indonesian SaaS provider: Advotics. The startup’s cloud-based platform digitizes supply chain stakeholders’ offline field, trade, and distribution activities.
In the same month, the VC firm also invested in automated trading platform Lubna and led a US$1.3 million seed round for Kedai Sayur, which brings technology to vegetable hawkers in Indonesia.
