If you’re a game developer in India, you can’t afford to miss this year’s NGDC

The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) Gaming Forum has announced the list of speakers for this year’s NASSCOM Game Developer Conference (NGDC). The keynote speaker for the event is Bob Bates, who has worked on a host of games over the years ranging from hardcore titles such as Unreal 2 and Spider-Man 3 to social games on Facebook such as Empires & Allies and Frontierville.

Other speakers include Sho Sato, chief analyst at Media Create, a Japanese marketing firm specializing in the gaming industry, and Josué Monchan a storytelling and English-to-Spanish localization specialist who has worked on titles including Papers, Please , and Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded. This year’s NGDC is touted to be the biggest yet with more than 40 sessions, over 60 speakers, and a day dedicated to workshops. Between initiatives like this, Clanup, and Game Jam Titans, game development in India is undoubtedly on the rise. NGDC will take place November 13 to15 in Pune this year and looks to be an event worth attending for developers both old and new.
