Terence:Asia’s Anonymous fell with a thud this week. The hacker group, which got the attention of governments in Asia, is not exactly immune to cyber sleuthing. The question is whether these arrests would be enough to dent the momentum of Anonymous in Asia.
Phoebe: I agree with Terence’s thoughts. In fact in the Philippines, where the Anonymous group had already defaced a number of websites for a couple of times, I somehow thought that the group might be invincible. But with these events that’s happened, will there be more defacements that will happen soon, or will this put things to an end?
Vanessa’s pick: Singaporean marketplace app Carousell snags $800K, sets sight on Malaysia and Indonesia
