Founded in August 2021, Off Foods produces plant-based meat that it distributes to various restaurants. Sales of its flagship product – a chicken-like protein called Off Meat – have grown by 10x since its establishment, according to a company statement.
The foodtech startup said its products are available in seven cities across Indonesia through partnerships with restaurants including Gaaram, Wanfan, Mamma Rosy, and Fitco Eats. Soon, Off Foods will also distribute its plant-based meats to more F&B chains, such as Mangkokku, Zenbu, and Byurger.
Off Foods was established by serial entrepreneurs Dominik Laurus and Jhameson Ko, who have experience in the plant-based food industry.
The company plans to spend the fresh funding to expand to more cities in Indonesia and invest in its research and development. It also aims to launch direct-to-customer products to reach more users.
