Ecchi character trailers for To Love Ru Darkness: Battle Ecstasy released! (Mildly NSFW)
Character trailers for Lala, Momo, and Nono have been released, and the girls are every bit as naughty as they are in the original To Love Ru Darkness manga.
The trailers show off some of the combat in the game, consisting of the series’ protagonist, Rito, beating on the girls with a giant popsicle stick. Don’t worry, feminists—in Lala’s trailer, Rito asks her if she is hurt by his giant popsicle stick attacks, and she responds in Japanese with, “I’m totally fine! It feels good to be hit with your lucky item! If possible, I’d like to get hit even more!”
What.
After beating on the girls, you get to indulge in To Love Ru Touch Time, a mechanic where you rhythmically tap on the screen. Doing so makes the girls moan in a way that would make me feel uncomfortable playing this in front of my mother. Scratch that, none of this game is playable in front of anyone, ever.
In the second segment of To Love Ru Touch Time, you poke the girls at sensitive areas to make them… I can’t say it. I guess “cry out” is a good term? Let’s roll with that.
In the To Love Ru manga, Lala, Momo, and Nono are three alien princesses who end up living with Rito, a good-natured boy with a phobia for touching girls. Yadda yadda, comical panty shot situations and a million happy accidents later, the manga is now about Momo, the most sadistic sister of all, who is attempting to help Rito build a harem starring every single female character in the series. How did it all get so serious, so fast?
To Love Ru Darkness: Battle Ecstasy is an “ultra-pleasant harem action” game (I swear, that’s what it says) that’s getting a Playstation Vita release on May 22.
