As we all know by now, TI4 is over, and the winner was China’s Newbee. Many international fans saw Newbee as a kind of villain after the allegations of anti-Chinese prejudice on the team, and it seems many weren’t happy to see the team walk away with $5 million in prize money. Regardless of which you play, they’re both eSports, an occupation that’s looked down on by most people. Although I’m happy a Chinese team won TI4, watching a finals with two Chinese teams and no DK was really boring.
#TI4 the most highlight-lacking competition, the most boring finals. Watching now, it’s not surprising that individual skill has been totally hidden by the game’s patch version and team composition, so people just blindly talk about the prizes.
