Tech in Asia Meetup goes to Lahore, Pakistan: Fireside Chat with Shehryar Hydri

Tech in Asia Lahore Meetup Shehryar Hydri_750x

With a population of almost 200 million and 30 million internet users, Pakistan’s tech startup scene has much playing ground. For the first time ever, we are bringing the world’s sixth-most populous country into the Tech in Asia Meetup fold.

On 12 February in Lahore, Pakistan, join us as we gather with the local community of entrepreneurs to hear from Shehryar Hydri, director of marketing and operations of Convo, an enterprise business collaboration tool. Convo raised a US$5 million Series A in 2013 from US-based Morgenthaler Ventures.

Shehryar has built an award-winning gaming studio, and been at the journey of two of Pakistan’s local startup success stories: Convo and Groopic. He was Convo’s first angel investor and provided the “garage” from where it all started; he also sits on Convo’s Board of Directors. Additionally, Shehryar serves on Groopic’s Board of Advisors.

With more than 15 years of hands-on experience in media, gaming, and technology, Shehryar’s diverse backgrounds will be fun to get into in our inaugural Tech in Asia Lahore Meetup.
