Listing the jobs a week ago, TikTok is mostly looking for business and operational employees in Indonesia, such as category lead, logistics operation, and business development. In Singapore, the company is seeking on tech talent for positions like tech lead, software engineer, and data engineer.

Earlier this month, Financial Times reported that TikTok is planning an aggressive expansion into ecommerce in the US this year. The new features may allow popular users to share links to products and earn a commission on sales.
The company apparently has created an educational website called “TikTok Shop Seller University” for its audience in Indonesia. According to the site, users can display products through livestreaming or short videos. Viewers who want to make a purchase can click a link in the video, and they will be redirected to the product’s detail page.
TikTok told TechCrunch that the program is a test of its ecommerce solutions in Indonesia.
