I’m Swati, Co-Founder of CashKaro.com. We are India’s largest Cashback & Coupons website and the place to start your online shopping journey! We reward our members with Cash for making online purchases at any of our 1000+ merchant partners like Amazon.in, Paytm, Ebay, Expedia & so on. Members earn Cashback over & above all other deals & discounts & can redeem the Cash into their bank account or via shopping vouchers.

CashKaro is a leader in Affiliate Marketing in India. We get paid commission from online merchants for providing sales to them. We then share this commission with our members as ’Cashback’!

I am an alumnus of the London School of Economics (LSE) & graduated with an Honors degree in Mathematics & Economics. Thereafter I joined Goldman Sachs in London in the Investment Banking Division and worked there for 5 years.

My husband Rohan & I were in love with the idea of ‘Cashback’ and were inspired by the success of Cashback sites globally. In 2011, we started our first entrepreneurial venture called Pouring Pounds in the UK. Pouring Pounds is now one of the UK’s leading Cashback & Voucher websites and works with 2,500 popular brands like Tesco, Debenhams, M&S, Expedia and Argos.

Recognizing the huge potential and growing e-commerce industry in India, we launched CashKaro.com in April 2013. Today, CashKaro.com is India’s largest Cashback & Coupons site. CashKaro.com recently raised $5M USD(Rs 25 Crores) in Series A funding from Kalaari Capital, one of India’s leading venture capital firms. We had earlier raised $750,000 in the year 2013 in angel funding from a group of investors based in London who belong to companies like Paypal, Investec, Goldman Sachs etc. CashKaro is the only VC funded Cashback site in India.

Fun facts about me and CashKaro

• I am from Ambala, a small town north of Delhi and was among the first students from Ambala to go abroad for studying
• I met Rohan, my husband and Co-Founder of CashKaro.com at LSE
• Every morning I practice yoga which keeps me energetic and fresh the whole day. My mom introduced me to yoga when I was working at Goldman Sachs
• I love to shop. My favorite clothing brands include Karen Millen, Coast, Reiss and River Island
• The Secret by Rhonda Bryne – is my most special book as it has changed how I think and visualize
• Rohan & I came across the Cashback idea when making travel bookings for our honeymoon to Maldives
• CashKaro team has grown from 20 people to 60+ people in just 12 months
• Every CashKaro party ends in the Best of Bollywood dancing!
