The investment will be used for global expansion, research and development, and exploration of new strategic partnerships. It will also be used to accelerate the company’s net-zero carbon goals.
Founded in 2014, Envision Digital’s main offering is its AI operating system, EnOS, which helps organizations manage the production of renewable energy and orchestrate efficient consumption across their operations, reducing their overall carbon footprint. EnOS manages over 200 million smart devices and 400 gigawatts of energy assets globally.
The company also runs the Envision Net Zero Technology Partnership program, which aims to rally large businesses and organizations on measurable progress in the reduction of carbon emissions.
Neil Shen, founding and managing partner of Sequoia China, said the investment was in line with Sequoia China’s goals to support the race to net-zero carbon emissions globally.
