Amazon exec joins over $600k round of Pakistani logistics startup
Trukkr, a Pakistan-based logistics startup, announced that it has raised US$600,000 in equity and an undisclosed amount in debt financing as part of a seed round led by Peter Findley, general partner at Anchorless Bangladesh.

Kinnow Capital, Kargo Technologies founder and CEO Tiger Fang, and executives from Amazon and Cue Health also took part in the financing round.
Established in 2020, Trukkr offers a marketplace where goods are matched between carriers and shippers in real time for quick delivery turnarounds. The startup also operates a digital platform that allows corporates to manage the logistics of their fleet, providing access to deep data and analytics, and real-time visibility.
“Their [Trukkr’s] knowledge of graph theory allows them to understand routes in a manner that minimizes waste. This leads to an ability to improve the carbon footprint of the trucking industry and also their partners,” said Anchorless Bangladesh’s Findley.
Trukkr said that since its launch, it has completed over 20,000 trips. It has also onboarded firms like Artistic Milliners and Ittehad Chemicals onto its platform, while KSB Pumps and Master Group are also set to use Trukkr’s services.

Another Pakistan-based logistics tech platform also secured funding recently. In April, Truck It raised US$1.5 million as part of its pre-seed round.
