Anurag Maloo, currently the head of partnerships for Asia at investment firm Seedstars, has been found after going missing while climbing Nepal’s Mount Annapurna

Maloo was believed to have fallen from a height of about 6,000 meters on his way down from Camp III on April 17, his brother Aashish Maloo said in the petition.

Maloo’s family had sought support from the Indian and Nepalese governments to launch a special rescue team. A petition was created on Change.org to raise awareness and gather support.

The Seedstars executive is known for his work in emerging markets and his mission to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000 meters and seven summits to raise awareness for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Founded in 2013, Seedstars is headquartered in Switzerland. The company focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage startups in emerging markets across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, as well as Central and Eastern Europe.

Update (April 20, 4:10 p.m. SGT): This article was updated to include Anurag Maloo’s latest conditions.
