1. Ninja Van (Singapore)
Logistics startup Ninja Van received an investment from Grab as part of a partnership agreement between both companies. The deal will see NinjaVan adopting GrabPay across its platform. More info.
2. Sicepat Ekspres (Indonesia)
Sicepat Ekspres, an ecommerce-focused logistics firm, raised US$50 million in a series A funding round by Barito Teknologi and Kejora InterVest Growth Fund. It is one of the largest recorded series A rounds in Southeast Asia. More info.
3. Onion Math (China)
Onion Math, also known as Yangcong Shuxue, raised 300 million yuan (US$45 million) in a series D fundraising round led by Primavera Capital Group. Onion Math is an AI-driven learning app with backing from Tencent. More info.
4. RWDC Industries (Singapore)
RWDC Industries, a biotech startup, raised US$22 million in an oversubscribed series A3 round led by Vickers Venture Partners. US-based Eversource Retirement Plan Master Trust participated in the funding round. More info.
5. HappyFresh (Indonesia)
Online grocery platform HappyFresh bagged US$20 million in series C funding led by Mirae Asset-Naver Growth Fund. HappyFresh’s strategic investors, such as Line Ventures, Singha Ventures, and Grab Ventures participated in the round. More info.
6. Mfine (India)
Mfine, an AI-driven startup that lets patients consult with doctors via their platform, raised US$17.2 million in a series B round led by SBI Investment. SBI Ven Capital, BEENEXT, Stellaris Venture Partners, and Prime Venture Partners participated in the round. More info.
7. Vue.ai (India)
Vue.ai, a retail automation platform, raised a US$17 million series B round led by Falcon Edge Capital with participation from Sequoia Capital India and Japan’s Global Brain. More info.
8. Saleswhale (Singapore)
Saleswhale, a startup that creates AI sales assistants, raised US$5.3 million in a series A round led by Monk’s Hill Ventures. Saleswhale will use the funds to expand its engineering, customer success, and sales & marketing teams. More info.
9. Lifetrack Medical Systems (Singapore)
Medical imaging startup Lifetrack Medical Systems raised US$5.2 million in a series A round led by UOB Venture Management. Kickstart Ventures and electronics brand Philips participated in the round. More info.
10. TokoTalk (Indonesia)
TokoTalk, an ecommerce platform, raised US$3.2 million from Altos Ventures. The startup will use the funds to improve platform security and marketing. More info.
11. Grooves (Japan)
Grooves, a B2B recruitment technology startup, raised US$3 million from travel agency JTB Corporation and the All-Japan Tourism National Fund. The fresh capital will be used to help boost tourism employment in the country. More info.
12. Mycotech (Indonesia)
Biotech startup Mycotech, which creates leather out of mushrooms, recently nabbed six-figure funding. The company will use the fresh capital to expand its production capabilities. More info.
13. Bookme (Pakistan)
Online booking platform Bookme raised a pre-series A funding round for an undisclosed amount. The investment was led by Lakson Investments Venture Capital. More info.
