The Singapore launch date and price for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) was revealed at a conference this morning.
Sony’s next gen console will cost SGD$639 and arrive on 19 December 2013. It’s just two days apart from Hong Kong’s December 17 launch. The PS4 will launch here with 23 titles, including popular games Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, NBA 2k14, Killzone Shadow Fall, Knack, Need for Speed: Rivals, BattleField 4, FIFA 14, Resogun, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.
Preorders for the PS4 will begin tomorrow November 13 and go on until December 14, 2013. Singapore will be privy to game bundle sets for the PlayStation 4, which will include a select game, PlayStation Plus membership, and a year’s regional warranty.
On top of these already enticing goodies, Sony will also be setting up a pop-up store for the PlayStation 4 on its launch day. Located outside of Wisma Atria, the store will remain in place until Jan 1, 2014. Visitors will be able to play with PS4, PS VITA tv, and PS VITA 2000 demo sets, and purchase their own PS4 consoles on top of that.
That’s not all. The first 100 customers at the store on launch day will stand a chance to win limited edition premiums, such as a 10-year PlayStation Plus membership.
Along with the launch date and price, Sony also announced the launch date for the PS VITA tv. It will be available on January 16, 2014 at a suggested retail price of S$149. There is also a bundle with the Dualshock 3 controller, which will retail at $219.
Preorders for all Sony products can be made at their PlayStation Focus stores and participating retailers.
