If your idea of a great summer includes some MOBA gaming then you’ll be glad to know that the guys at Mineski most probably have the same thing in mind. Starting May 2 to May 11, players can enjoy a lot of free gaming opportunities such a free-to-play day and ‘no registration fee, no PC time’ tournaments in selected Mineski Infinity branches.
Free-to-play in Mineski Infinity Calamba (May 2)
The nine-day summer spree will begin in Mineski Infinity Calamba, Laguna where players can enjoy a full day of free PC gaming. All you have to do is head over to the Mineski Infinity branch at Ipil-Ipil st. corner Dapdap. Barangay Bucal, Calamba City (Near Letran Calamba). Check out the map to give you a better idea of the location:
The 48-hour MOBA tournament (May 3-4)
Here’s an answer to your MOBA game itch—a 48-hour non-stop tournament for Warcraft III (WC3) DotA, League of Legends (LoL), and Dota 2.
WC3 DotA
The MOBA marathon will kick off with theWC3 DotA tournament with a limited number of slots of 48 teams. The tournament will have an elimination phase that will follow a wave format with the following schedule:
- Wave 1: 8am – 10am
- Wave 2: 10am – 12am
- Wave 3: 12am – 2pm
- Wave 4: 2pm – 4pm
- Wave 5: 4pm – 6pm
- Wave 6: 6pm -8pm
The top two teams for each wave will then move on to the playoffs following a single-eliminiation bracket format, which will take place on the following day, May 4. The winner will not only receive the lion’s share of the PhP 6,000 ($135.03) prize pool, but will also get the chance to play in the Mineski Infinity Opening Tournament (MIOT) Laguna Circuit where they can compete against teams such as MI.Shaw Vengeance, CP.HDP, and Full Space.

League of Legends
The 16-team LoL tournament will begin with an elimination phase using a two-wave group stage format right after the elimination phase for the WC3 DotA tournament. The top four teams for each wave will then proceed to the playoffs. The cash prize distribution will be as follows:
- 1st – PhP 3,000 ($67.52)
- 2nd – PhP 2,000 ($45.01)
- 3rd – PhP 1,000 ($22.51)
