Pacific eSports will be kicking off its Pacific Pro Circuit for the third time with a Dota 2 tournament held on April 24. The competition will span across two venues, Pacific 2 Dapitan and PAcific Angeles, and run for six months. There will be both online and offline tournaments with invited teams like Mineski and Execration.
The tournament will have two stages—a round robin stage and a single elimination stage. Teams are allowed to have a maximum of six players and can register here. You will have to log in using your Facebook account before you are able to register or see the contest details.
Prizes will be awarded in both cash and Pacific Points (PP). PP can be used to pay for tournament fees in the future and purchase items from the PacificPH store, which will be launhced on the Pacific PH website . The prize distribution is as follows:
- 1st place – PhP 12,000 ($269.63) + 3,000 p-points
- 2nd place – PhP 6,000 ($134.81) + 2,500 p-points
- 3rd place – PhP 3,500 ($78.64) + 1,000 p-points
- 4th place – PhP 2,500 ($56.17) + 500 p-points
- 5th to 8th place – PhP 500 ($11.23) + 500 p-points
Aside from Dota 2, the Pacific Pro Circuit Season 3 will also have tournaments for seven other game titles, which will be revealed via live broadcast on the Pacific PH website tomorrow, April 23, along with the launch of Pacific Points.
