U.K London is King of Twitter

U.S beat the hell out of U.K in number of Twitter users.

But the irony is, London tops all cities in the U.S to emerge as the city with the most number of tweeple currently residing in Twitterverse.

This result is gotten directly from Twitter CEO, Evan Williams (@ev) when he was interviewed by Kirsty Wark on BCC Newsnight.

In the interview, Wark bombarded Williams with a variety of tough questions, ranging from Twitter’s verified account, its role in journalism, its part in degenerating our social lives (or not) to the technical maintenance delay during the post-election protests in Iran.
