“As digital banking becomes a necessity now more than ever, it’s crucial for us to build a robust roster of leaders ready to serve the Filipino community,” said Varghese, who will be primarily based at Tonik’s Chennai office.
The new CPO brings 25 years of expertise of building teams in the region. He will also take charge of the neobank’s continuous growth and cultural integration.
“Manoj brings invaluable expertise in further growing our workforce and footprint across our multiple hubs,” said Greg Krasnov, founder and CEO of Tonik.
The neobank recently raised US$131 million in a series B round led by Mizuho.
