Temasek-backed firm leads $6m funding for crypto staking provider
RockX, a Singapore-based crypto staking provider, has raised US$6 million in a series A funding round led by Temasek-backed Amber Group and participated by Matrixport and Primitive Ventures.
The deal pushes RockX’s valuation to US$30 million.

Founded by Chen Zhuling in 2019, RockX focuses on serving corporates and high-net-worth individuals who want to gain yields from storing crypto assets. It currently has almost US$1 billion in assets under management.
The company has partnered with prominent blockchain protocols such as Lido and ssv.network. It also said it has doubled its workforce since the beginning of the year.
RockX plans to use the fresh funding for new hires and product development.
