Logistics service Ninja Van to invest $4m to speed up deliveries in the Philippines
Ninja Van, a Singapore-headquartered logistics company, said it would invest about US$4 million in new sorting hubs and trucks in the Philippines by the fourth quarter of 2019 to speed up deliveries and better serve small businesses.
The company said it would invest about US$2 million to set up 50 more sorting hubs and the rest for 80 trucks to improve efficiencies in handling deliveries.

Vin Perez, chief operating officer of Ninja Van Philippines, expects the heavy use of social media among Filipinos to drive growth for the country’s ecommerce industry.
Perez said the company, which was founded in 2016, can currently deliver to 95% of the country’s population through its 8,000-strong fleet.
“Our next step is to densify our presence all over the country, especially in the most populous areas like Metro Manila and Central Visayas, to ultimately speed up delivery times,” he added.
