Kejora-SBI Orbit backs Indonesian e-grocery firm’s series A

KedaiSayur, an Indonesia-based agritech startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of series A funding in a round led by Kejora-SBI Orbit and saw participation from local conglomerate Triputra Group.

Founded in 2018, KedaiSayur began by helping vegetable hawkers digitalize their businesses in the country. Since then, it has expanded to have three business lines: an e-groceries app called KedaiMart, business-to-business groceries ordering platform KedaiBiz, and farmers management service KedaiVenture.

In a statement, the firm said that it has served more than 100,000 customers and businesses.

KedaiSayur was established by Adrian Hernanto, an executive of a Triputra Group subsidiary. It counts East Ventures as one of its backers.

The company plans to use the fresh funding to increase collaborations with farmers and suppliers.
