Singapore-headquartered delivery firm Foodpanda has partnered with local firm TabSquare to enable clients to access AI-powered restaurant solutions.
The two firms will first work with restaurants in Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Foodpanda partners can offer digital menus through QR codes and allow customers to order food and pay through TabSquare’s platform. This reduces the margin of error when taking orders while minimizing staff workload.
The partnership will also tap into Foodpanda’s internal data and reveal customer purchasing habits through predictive analytics. This will support partners in adjusting their menu items, pricing, and promotions, among other things.
According to Foodpanda and TabSquare, restaurants using the solution have seen 10% larger customer bills, a 10% increase in business performance, and a 50% reduction in staff costs.
Foodpanda, which launched its dine-in features in 2021, has become more bullish on delivering offline experiences since pandemic restrictions softened.
Earlier this year, the company launched its brick-and-mortar Pandamart stores, which allow customers to collect their groceries after placing an online order. The service is already available in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, and will soon expand to Bangladesh and Pakistan.
