Ex-Lazadians are making their mark on the tech industry

Dear readers,

A stint at a prominent internet company can leave an indelible mark on people. It shapes mindsets and behaviors, reveals new opportunities, and brings together like-minded individuals. Often, the next chapter for these alumni is to start their own companies together or lead existing, thriving ones.

That’s certainly the case with Lazada. Last week, we featured a number of ex-Lazadians who’ve moved on to new ventures. Tellingly, their latest efforts are ecommerce-related. Former Lazada CEO Max Bittner is heading Vestiaire Collective and spearheading the French luxury fashion marketplace’s expansion to Asia, while a trio of Lazadians is building a first-of-its-kind influencer marketing tool in Southeast Asia.

We’re certainly monitoring the entrepreneurial moves of other ex-Lazadians, and we can’t wait to present them to you. Keeping track of the who’s who of Asia’s tech scene is an expensive endeavor. Do support us by subscribing.
