Yellow Class said that it would use the fresh capital to improve the experience of its product for children and parents, develop more content, and build brand awareness.
The company also plans to hire for leadership roles across the product, technology, and engineering verticals. It aims to expand its footprint in the domestic market and internationally.
Founded in 2020, Yellow Class focuses on extracurricular courses for children between the ages of three and 12. It covers over 40 categories, including dance, yoga, art and craft, and general knowledge. The company said that, collectively, more than 1 million children have engaged in over 150 million minutes of learning on the platform since its launch.
“We aim to serve 10 million monthly active users on Yellow Class platform in a year from now,” Yellow Class co-founders Anshul Gupta and Arpit Mittal said in a statement.
In November last year, Yellow Class raised US$1.5 million in a seed round led by India Quotient.
