The acquisition will allow Circles Global to enter the MVNE market, as well as further expand its business across Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.

The employees of Pareteum’s MVNE unit will join Circles Global’s team after the deal. The Singapore-based firm will also take over the unit’s current partners and customers.

Circles Global was founded in 2014 by Rameez Ansar, Abhishek Gupta, and Adeel Najam. Besides operating its own telco brand, Circles Life, the company also provides a SaaS-based telco-as-a-service to operators around the world.

Its flagship product is Circles-X, a full-stack platform that enables clients to launch their own telco brand. The firm said its solution has helped telco partners reduce operating costs by over 50%.

Meanwhile, Pareteum is a communications platform-as-a-service provider. It offers mobile and Wi-Fi services, IoT solutions, cloud infrastructure, and messaging, among others.
