Black Desert overseas publishers confirmed, English version coming soon?

We’ve been drooling over Pearl Abyss’s gorgeous MMORPG Black Desert for quite some time now. But although we knew an English version of the game was in the works, we didn’t know much more. Now, we do! Developer Pearl Abyss has confirmed to Steparu that Korean publisher Daum will also be publishing the game in North America and Europe.

It’s also being published in Japan (by GameOn) and in Russia (by GameNet), according to Steparu.

There’s still no official release date for the game in English, and it will probably be quite awhile before we actually see it in action. But the North American and European distributor confirmation is at least proof that there are still plans to bring the game abroad in English, and it’s likely that players outside NA and EU will still be able to access the game on English on those servers when it does finally launch.
