1. VisualCamp | South Korea (Startup Profile)

Early-stage startup VisualCamp has developed technology to make real-life ads clickable in virtual reality on Google Street View. It has an eye-tracking keyboard, a smartphone-based headset, and the advanced eye gaze analytics platform.


2. Tracxn | India

Bangalore-based startup market research firm Tracxn aims to facilitate startup stock transactions by connecting shareholders of private companies with institutional investors. The company also aims to enable employees of startups to sell their stocks.


3. Jurnal | Indonesia

Jurnal is a web-based accounting software for small and medium enterprises, based in Indonesia. Its software includes features like invoicing, reporting, and asset management.


4. Moneytree | Japan

Fintech startup Moneytree, founded in Tokyo in 2012, offers three main services: personal finance, business expense management, and Moneytree Pro for corporate accounts. This week, it was announced that the company will partner Japan’s second largest megabank Mizuho Financial Group in which Moneytree’s API technology will let Mizuho customers finally see all of their financial data in one place.


5. GoCatch | Australia

GoCatch is a Sydney-based taxi booking app. This week, it announced that it is launching a ridesharing component. Much like Grab’s GrabCar service, GoCatch users will be able to hail a GoCar from within the GoCatch app, getting access to private cars for point-to-point transportation. GoCatch says it will do this while eschewing established practices like surge pricing.


6. Taskbob | India

Mumbai-based startup Taskbob provides cleaners, handymen services, and drivers. It now also provides maids on demand and at-home salon services under the brand name Myrra. Focusing on the quality of their services, the company pre-screens the workers on its portal. Its recruitment process consists of skill testing and psychometric tests. Once hired, they undergo extensive training across vocational skills, customer management, technology, processes, and soft skills.
