1. ManyTutors | Singapore
ManyTutors is an online marketplace for finding and joining group tuition classes nearby. It also helps tutors with marketing by exposing their services to a sizable audience.
2. LabInApp | India (Startup Profile)
LabInApp developed a virtual laboratory that works with Android phones and computers. It uses the science curriculums of students studying from the 9th through the 12th grade in India to build out a visual version of what goes on in school labs – including all of the things that are otherwise impossible or too expensive.
3. Callystro | India (Startup Profile)
Callystro is an edtech startup that makes educational games. It’s main app is claimed to be the only edtech app to map out and pair with the entire student curriculum from the 1st to the 9th grade. It’s also released a financial literacy game that lets students level up as they learn more about how to use their money wisely.
4. Qlue | Indonesia (Startup Profile)
Jakarta’s citizen services app Qlue lets citizens file complaints, which then get directed to the responsible government institution. The app is also a gateway for citizens to access real-time information on traffic and transportation, healthcare, safety, education, and entertainment.
5. Zarget | India
Conversion rate optimization software maker Zarget enables website optimization through a simple Chrome plugin. A marketer or product manager can do everything from A/B testing and real-time heat maps to tracking a user from engagement to conversion, without having to load the website into separate apps.
6. Tagit | Singapore (Startup Profile)
Mobile banking app specialist Tagit is mostly known for its Mobeix platform, which enables banks and enterprises to build digital applications. It is also one of the first Singaporean businesses to receive the Accreditation@IDA nod, an initiative by the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) designed to help startups clinch contracts with bigger companies.
