Spring Festival is coming, and League of Legends is ready to celebrate Chinese-style
League of Legends season 4 may not be coming anytime too soon, but this is still a festive time of year to be a League of Legends player, at least if you’re in China. Word on the street is that Ao Shin, a new champion based on a Chinese dragon, is coming to the game just in time for Spring Festival, and the game will also be getting three new Chinese-themed skins for the ‘Lunar Revel’ in-game holiday:
(Note: these videos are a little old, and the final skins will probably look a bit different when they’re actually released).
The skins, as you can see, are for Diana, Tryndamere, and Riven, and will be called Lunar Goddess Diana, Warring Kingdoms Tryndamere, and Dragonblade Riven. You can also check out some cool concept are for the new skins, via Chinese gaming site 17173:

Between these and the rumored release of Ao Shin, it’s enough to get even the most ardent moon-haters excited for China’s lunar new year. (And you’d better hope that you get some fat red envelopes this Spring Festival, too, because these skins are likely not going to come cheap!).
