Apple announced the roll-out of its online store in Vietnam, which is part of the company’s efforts to reach more emerging markets.

The US consumer tech giant also provides additional retail services there, which include Apple Trade In, safe data transfers, student discounts, and AppleCare+.

Apple also offers up to 24 months of financing with MoMo, a homegrown fintech major. According to a separate statement from MoMo, customers can split their purchases into six to 24 monthly installments with a 20% down payment.

Apple’s recent focus on emerging markets has been paying dividends. In the company’s most recent earnings call, CEO Tim Cook reported record-breaking sales in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, and the Philippines.

“And so we’re putting efforts in a number of these markets and really see – particularly given our low share and the dynamics of the demographics, et cetera – a great opportunity for us in those markets,” Cook shared.

He also cited strong performance India. Apple opened its first flagship store there in April after Cook said in February that India was a “hugely exciting market.”
