Check out these five innovative Indonesian startups at TIA Singapore 2018

Exhibitions are a startup’s best friend. More than it being a marketing campaign, participating in a startup exhibition can skyrocket your network with investors and other professionals.
From May 15 to 16, 250 startups will be exhibiting at one of Singapore’s biggest startup showcase – the seventh annual Tech in Asia Singapore. Besides a slew of startups, the conference will also have engaging content stages, investors, media, and senior decision makers. The event will host the CEOs of renowned companies such as Stripe and PropertyGuru.
Take a gander at five Indonesian startups from the growing list of exhibitors at Tech in Asia Singapore 2018’s Startup Factory.
Grivy

Since 2014, Grivy has connected online consumers with offline marketplaces. Similar to Groupon, the online hub offers deals with localized services around the archipelago.
Grivy claims to be Southeast Asia’s first bidding site for leisure deals, and allows users to dictate their own price and bid on deals against others. Want a five-night stay in Bali? You can bid on a deal for only half of the original price.
After multiple rounds of funding, they have released and optimized mobile apps for iOS and Android. They have also added support for the Indonesian language.
Populix

Conducting a marketing survey with a thousand people can be difficult if you don’t actually know a thousand people. Populix bridges the gap by connecting researchers with willing respondents.
The startup allows researchers to post their survey needs: demographic, sample size, and duration. Automatically, Populix emails their pool of respondents according to your needs. Upon completion, researchers can reward the random respondents, of which Populix handles the logistics themselves. From a respondent’s perspective, the platform offers a fun way to earn incentives while helping potentially industry-changing studies.
Despite the openness of the platform, Populix maintains a stringent screening process for respondents.
Mallness

Offering hotspots for shopping, relaxation and leisure, malls are havens of delight in urban areas. It’s only natural that a city’s inhabitants frequent their malls every weekend, holiday, and break in between. Mallness offers shoppers the freshest deals from malls near them.
The startup works as a location-based collator of deals and discounts of both malls you’re near and you’ve favorited. Mallness even has a cute deal catching game like Pokémon Go, where you can go around and “catch” deals on a map. The startup’s customizable app experience is available on iOS and Android.
Crewdible

Starting your own online shop can be difficult without a dedicated logistics team. After all, you can’t store and mail your goods from your house all the time. Crewdible is an automated solution for those in need of both inventory management and delivery.
Crewdible points budding entrepreneurs to verified warehouses around the region. After storing their goods, sellers can then automate the app to deliver orders as soon as they’re placed by customers. The startup will even pack the order for you.
The affordable logistics solution promises improvements over store response, packaging quality, and delivery speed and amount. Crewdible is suitable for SMEs that operate with 30 to 2,400 transactions per month.
SatuBon

Managing your funds is a different ballgame when most of today’s industries are shifting to online payments. Managing online funds is simpler, but losing track of them is also easier. SatuBon is an e-Wallet that can automatically manage your funds while reminding you whenever bills are due. The mobile app displays purchases when they are made.
Currently, SatuBon offers support for a whole host of services such as telecom bill payments, TV subscriptions, prepaid game credits, and many more. Users can top up their SatuBon funds using e-banking services, ATMs, and Alfamart payments. The app itself is available on iOS and Android.
