Ant-backed BAce Capital invests in Indian gaming development startup

SuperGaming, an India-based game development company, announced that it has raised US$5.5 million.

  • The startup will use the fresh corpus of funds to expand its team, develop new projects, build out its game-publishing division, and market existing mobile games such as MaskGun, Devil Amongst Us, and Tower Conquest.
  • The company is working on a large battle royale game that is expected to launch in early 2022.
  • It also runs games for remote work teams through Bored which is popular in over 2,500 Slack workspaces across the US, the UK, and India.
  • SuperGaming previously raised US$1.3 million in its 2019 seed round from Dream Incubator, Akatsuki Entertainment Technology Fund, and Better Capital.
