Sustainability reporting is often slow, manual, and confusing, especially for SMEs without dedicated sustainability teams.

Gprnt, a fintech platform backed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), aims to simplify the process by helping businesses generate emissions reports in minutes using verified data.

😟 Problem

Most businesses struggle to measure their carbon emissions. The process is manual and time-consuming, companies have to collect utility bills and fill out disparate spreadsheets. This is especially difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with no dedicated sustainability teams.

Large enterprises and banks also struggle to get reliable ESG data from their suppliers, making it hard to track emissions and support green financing. Without a standardized and scalable infrastructure, sustainability efforts are hard to manage.

💡 Solution

Gprnt automates sustainability reporting by connecting directly to verified data sources. It uses Singapore’s digital public infrastructure, including CorpPass and MyInfo Business. This allows it to pull utility and other data with consent.

For SMEs, this means they can generate a baseline emissions report for free in minutes. For larger organizations, Gprnt acts as a central hub to request and manage ESG data from their supply chains.

  • SMEs can complete emissions reporting in under 10 minutes.
  • Enterprises can track supply chain emissions through a unified dashboard.
  • Banks can access verified data to accelerate sustainability-linked loans.

Gprnt initially focuses on businesses in Singapore. The country has over 300,000 SMEs, with about 60,000 to 90,000 likely to need emissions reporting due to new regulations. Over 700 listed companies require data from their suppliers.

Gprnt plans to expand into Southeast Asia, which has over 70 million SMEs. As sustainability reporting becomes standard practice, the market opportunity is expected to grow.
