1. Chilindo (Thailand)
Chilindo is an ecommerce startup that combines an auction model with tight supply chain management to bring affordable goods to consumers. Its revenue has grown rapidly from US$1 million in 2014 to US$85 million and more than a thousand employees in 2017.

2. RWDC (Singapore)
RWDC develops innovative and cost-effective biopolymer material solutions. In particular, the company produces medium-chain-length PHAs, which are naturally produced by bacterial fermentation of plant-based oils or sugar, and are widely recognized as the world’s only commercially viable biodegradable bioplastic due to its versatility.
Amount raised: US$13 million
Round: Series A2
Investors: Co-led by venture capital firms Vickers Venture Partners and WI Harper Group. Finance firm Ridgevale Enterprises Limited also participated

3. Gogoprint (Thailand)
Gogoprint is an online service for printing things like business cards, flyers, and leaflets. It uses algorithms that take into account parameters such as paper type, quantity, and delivery, and then aggregates those orders into a “print-run” or a batch of prints.
Amount raised: US$7.7 million
Round: Series A
Investors: Led by its existing backer OPG (Online Printing Group), an investor and partner of Brazil-based Printi.

4. TabSquare (Singapore)
TabSquare uses AI to make personalized menu recommendations and improve customers’ ability to order, pay, and deliver feedback. It has deployed 6,000 devices that serve more than 12 million diners and 6 million orders annually.
Amount raised: US$7.2 million
Round: Series A2
Investors: Led by Japanese comparison shopping website operator Kakaku.com. The round is supported by Coca-Cola Amatil, Resorts World, and existing investor Walden International.

5. Republic Protocol (Singapore)
Republic Protocol is an open-source decentralized dark pool exchange that facilitates cross-chain atomic trades on a hidden order book over the Ethereum and Bitcoin networks. The startup has raised over US$30 million.

6. Dekoruma (Indonesia)
Although the company started out selling furniture, Dekoruma has now developed a new interior design feature. Homeowners will be paired with appropriate interior designers. If the design has been made, they can connect with third parties who can do mechanical, electrical, and construction work.
Amount raised: Several million US dollars
Round: Series B
Investors: Led by Global Digital Niaga (the company behind ecommerce site Blibli) and AddVentures, an investment company owned by Thai conglomerate Siam Cement Group.

7. Waresix (Indonesia)
Founded in 2017, Waresix built a marketplace that connects businesses and individuals in need of warehouse space with warehouse operators. The site allows users to book a wide range of storage options in less than 24 hours. It also provides cross-border warehousing services for overseas customers looking to distribute goods to Indonesia.

Investors: Led by East Ventures and Monk’s Hill Ventures
