Hearthstone SEA weekend roundup: Battlestone and Call of War winners!

Regional Hearthstone tournament, Battlestone, came to a close last weekend with a Top 32 showdown at community event Campus Game Fest.

WaningMoon from Philippines beat Allura and Wensushi from Singapore to emerge first place, winning himself a cool S$250 ($200) and a Logitech G430 headset. Allura and Wensushi walked away with S$150 ($120) and S$100 ($80) respectively, as well as more Logitech gear.

Additionally, tournament organizer Epic Gaming TV upped the ante of the weekend’s Hearthstone hype with a 3v3 tournament on Sunday called Call of War. The team tournament was held locally in Singapore and expectedly saw an all-Singaporean finish. Team No Borders came in first, followed by Blank and Manasurge.

No Borders left with a cash prize of S$300 ($240) while the other two podium finishers received Logitech gear.

It has certainly been a busy month for stream producer and tournament organizer Epic Gaming TV, but the crew isn’t going to take a break just yet. There is definitely something else in the works: we just don’t know what yet.
