Intel to cut 58 more jobs
Intel will eliminate 58 more positions at its Folsom, California, campus by March 31.
This follows over 1,000 job losses at the site since January 2023, as part of a broader initiative that has reduced the global workforce by 23,000 employees since late 2022, including around 16,000 in 2024.
These layoffs are part of Intel’s strategy to save US$10 billion by 2025.
Additionally, in November 2024, the company announced plans to sell and partially lease back its Folsom property, indicating ongoing downsizing.
