Atelier Quest Board takes the Atelier series mobile for the first time

The Atelier series has been a fan favorite since the early nineties, and in the fine tradition of RPG masters Square Enix, its makers are bringing their next game to mobile devices. Tecmo Koei’s popular JRPG will return to iOS and Android devices as the free-to-play RPG adventure Atelier Quest Board.

Fans of the series can look forward to collecting and combining the cards of their favourite characters in order to build the party of their dreams. Alchemy, magic and a unique “preparation” system are also promised, so fans will have a lot to get their teeth into.

All in all, this looks like a quality card collector, with great graphics that brims with Atelier charm. Atelier Quest Board will be launched later this year in Japanese only. There’s currently no word on an English translation, but given the success of other Japanese ports, I see no reason why we can’t expect to see a translation of this in the near future.
