Y Combinator rolls out launchpad to help backed firms blast off
Tech accelerator Y Combinator has unveiled Launch YC, a virtual launchpad that lists all of the startups it has backed so far.

The platform lets users look up firms by industry, batch, and launch date. It also has a vote function where its users can help boost startups’ visibility.
Each featured firm’s profile highlights the solution they provide and the problem they’re trying to address. Launch YC is a public version of Launch Bookface, an internal platform used exclusively by Y Combinator’s founders.
“If you’re a founder or developer, you’ll find products that can help you run and grow your business. If you’re an investor, you’ll discover the next top YC-backed startups,” Y Combinator wrote. “And if you’re looking for a job, you’ll get to see the Stripes and Airbnbs of the future.

Every year, Y Combinator hosts two three-month programs where it awards US$500,000 to participating startups. It is currently accepting applications for its winter cycle, which will be held from January to March 2023.
The tech accelerator recently backed Vietnam-based fintech firm Anfin and Pakistan-based logistics company Rider.
