It’s been quite the crazy week, with launches and previews and of course, tons of indie games galore. This week, we’ve got Xairylle playing Exogenesis: Perils of Rebirth, Mary-Anne playing Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, Iain going old school with the iOS reboot of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, and Charlie rounding it all up with Bulletstorm.
What are you playing this week?

Exogenesis: Perils of Rebirth (PC)
by Team Kwan and QuickFire Games
I know the game is just a demo and the intro didn’t really hit me that hard, but I’ll tell you that I want to see this game fully finished because I want to know what happens next. I worked so hard to make my first recruit only to realize that it would end just when it gets better. That first character was my favorite character. Why must demos be so cruel? Why? I haven’t ventured that much into playing visual novels but Exogenesis made me want to try out other titles. Just not those with dating and love stories. Any visual novels you guys can recommend?

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls (PC, Mac)
by Blizzard Entertainment
I was playing Diablo III a few weeks ago, I know. But forgive me for this repetition because Reaper of Souls is truly reaping some souls right now for Blizzard’s giant fanboy-powered soulstone back in HQ. The expansion pack for 2012’s Diablo III rights all that’s wrong with Sanctuary, even as you set forth to destroy the angel Malthael, who stole the black soulstone. How? By giving us the Diablo III game we deserved. The game introduces new features such as the loot 2.0 system and post-campaign adventure mode. With these, and more, Diablo III is now a more rewarding experience, with there’s less campaign grinding and more ways to keep on playing. We’ve got our review of Reaper of Souls coming up shortly. But in the meantime…
