Hearthstone is an insanely accessible game. It is free-to-play, available on both PC and iOS, and its ten-million-strong accounts are testament to its popularity. So many people have picked up on it since it was announced at PAX East last year, we’ve even started to notice trends in the personality types who choose certain heroes.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to put together a quick little list. What do you think your favorite Hearthstone class says about you as a person?
Priest
Priests usually have a very reactive play style, and Priest users are typically passive, or sometimes, even lazy. They don’t like taking the initiative, and they like having time to think things through. Priest users are slow to anger, too. Just watch out for when they do get angry: they can hit harder than a buffed Lightspawn!
Mage
Mage users are players who can hit hard if necessary, but almost always avoid direct confrontation unless they’re forced into a fight. Polymorph, anyone? They are not people who get into the thick of action, as you can tell from the barrage of spells the Mage can deal from behind her wall of minions. They are quick to cause harm, and can just as quickly get out of it; this makes them fickle.
Druid
In World of Warcraft, Druids have a variety of forms to choose from, ranging from Moonkin to Bear and Cat forms, and even Travel form! In Hearthstone, Druid users are similarly adaptable. They know how to go with the flow and ride out both the good and the bad; they are also great at handling changes in their lives. But because they are so versatile, Druid users are usually jacks of all trades, and masters of none.
